This stunning chair with chipping paint & worn fabric showed a label identifying its last reupholstery in 1970. It was transformed with a new bone-colored painted & glazed finish to highlight the carved wood detail & beautiful fabric. Nicknamed "Frugly" due to a cruel melding of the words "French" & "Ugly" (upon observation of its original state).
