A true "upcycle" project: a tall storage hutch created by stacking a mid century TV cabinet below a bookcase of the same width. The base cabinet was painted white with purple striated doors. The top was painted white on the exterior & shelves, with a coordinated purple back. The sleek brass door handles were cleaned & reused. The two pieces just happened to be near each other in the store!
