Intricate Stained Wood Cabinet

What a gorgeous surprise! The customer wanted her vintage serving piece repainted to match a new decor.  Upon stripping away the old paint, this fabulous intricate wood design was discovered below.  The original wood was stained a golden mahogany, and covered with layers of polyurethane for protection.  The existing knobs were restored to their original brass finish.  The interior was repainted in a creamy off-white, and the back piece was repainted in a metallic gold.  Hard to believe this is the same cabinet!
