This classic pull-down desk, which had been recently purchased by the client, received a major redesign. Damaged wood was repaired & refinished with "Hidden Sapphire" blue paint & a dark walnut stain. Removal of doors lightened the look, with shelving backs painted a contrasting "Collectible" tan. Tapered antique brass handles replaced chunky wood knobs. A striking graphic chenille fabric & jute trim add interest vs. the original damaged velvet desktop covering.
