This client-owned piece needed a makeover to match a new decor. The lovely dark wood finish was retained, but a new deep metallic gold finish replaced the original floral painted designs. Multiple layers of gold, with a dark stain on the edges, were topped by several coats of polyurethane. The gold color was selected to coordinate with the gorgeous knobs selected by the customer.
